New cam!

Ever notice how you get into a spend cycle and find it hard to stop? I’m in one right now. I just got myself a new camera after months of vaguely planning on getting one and a month of waiting for the Canon PowerShot SD1000 to go on sale. It never did. Thank goodness for employee discounts! Now I have a shiny new cam that I can’t use yet because I still need to purchase a memory card that is significantly bigger than 32 MB.

Not being a visual artist, I don’t aspire to be an amateur photographer. Instead, I go for the paparazzi approach that beloved friends should beware, because my main target is them. There’s nothing like a nice candid shot of someone nodding off.

I ought to take some nice generic shots of places I go to too. I work in the city. I might as well be tourist-y about it.
